This simulator will be commissioned in September 2010 in Hy&amp;egrave;res naval air base. Three additional simulators will be supply in other french naval air bases in 2011. This contract is the most important one regarding the number of units ever purchased by SNCF.&lt;br /&gt;These simulators will be based on the latest generation of OKTAL small range driver training simulator and will be constituted by a simplified dash board and three monitors for 3D viewing and virtual instrumentation.&lt;br /&gt;Based on the latest version of OKSimRail&lt;sup&gt;TM&lt;/sup&gt; software they will enable SNCF to provide their drivers with high level training courses for safe and efficient operation.&lt;br /&gt;The simulators will be commissioned in 30 training centers in France.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fabrice CARLIER, Head of driving simulator purchasing at SNCF said &amp;laquo; We chose OKTAL due to innovation and relevance of its solution in addition to its raisonnable price.&lt;br /&gt; This is a major project for SNCF because it will enable us to start continual vocational and skill enhancement training of more than 15300 drivers. This is also a challenge for OKTAL who will need to commissione all the driving simulators within 6 months after having finished the design phase.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;OKTAL Sales&amp;amp;Marketing director Pascal COUCHAT explained that &amp;quot; after having been the first supplier of a driver training simulator for SNCF with the Eurostar simulator in 1992, OKTAL will become, with this contract, the first supplier of SNCF regarding the number of driver training simulators.
